I think my most hated character is Fett, Sr. For the same reason one came to hate Weyoun the Vorta on DS9. He would keep turning up, over and over, because cloning. In Star Wars... so many copies of Fett, so.. very.. many. ~~~~~~ JJB must have reached room temperature at some point. How / When / Where did Jar-Jar finally die?
I thought it was really good. . ... ....BUAHAHAHAHAHA ....ok I think nobody can say that with a straight face. The toys of the little Wookie very pretty cool though! XKCD: https://xkcd.com/653/ I did watch it for the kitschy nerd cred just as the mouseover text of the picture says. And it it absolutely dire.
I actually watched it in one sitting. Back then I discovered it existed and was on YT or some other video site and just couldn't look away. and man, Carrie Fisher is SO high in that film, it gives a new meaning to "your Highness". There are several interesting things in it, besides its really bad quality. ...actually the wiki article contains everything, so @all of you who read this and don't know it: You don't have to watch the awful thing to know everything about it. Just read this: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Star_Wars_Holiday_Special
I thought Weyoun was quite a good character - did you know the chap who played him (Jeffrey Combs) also played Brunt in DS9? I do dislike Boba Fett because he does hardly anything yet so many say he's 'badass' just because he looks imposing and the lore stated he was the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. I think Baze Malbus is much more of a badass than Boba Fett and could wipe the floor with him in a fight easily. Jango was good though - especially when he does his cowboy pistol twirl in the arena fight in II. At least he killed stuff. Ah yes, the much-maligned Thanksgiving Special... as a Briton I have never seen it all the way through, but I did see a small clip of Leia singing in it. Star Wars as a musical? That is sacrilege enough for me to agree with you all!
So many choices! I have a strong dislike for Ewoks and Jar Jar, and I really think Anakin's downfall could have been done better but ultimately my least favourite character is Padme. She just doesn't strike me as a particularly robust character or even a good leader. Not to mention the whole "died of a broken heart" thing (although that could have just been the medical robot being terrible at it's job). Do not like Padme.
Reality was different: Actually the Med Robot screwed up and just invented that as a cover story. Anakin killed her.
Darth Vader killed her Anakin had gone, technically he isn't Darth until after the death but his move to the dark side (good side) is what broke her heart, argh bless.
@Crowsfoot Nonono he was declared Darth Vader by Palpatine before he went to the temple killing all the kids.
But but but, I still think he had not fully turned at the point, yes he kills the younglings but if you watch him there is still doubt, sure it's a really evil thing killing all the young jedi but we parents have all felt that urge
To be honest I had a rather big dislike for most of the movie in tje past and I still think it could have been done so much better. That scene was OK though.
