Hey lizardfolk,
In a segue from my all-encompassing blog I present a new thread type for me: the project thread.
In this thread I will make more real-time postings of particular things I do for that project, mainly as motivation to keep going.
I'm also going to post more in depth background musings and explanations. Some of these may seem redundant but I'm basically going to be using this thread like a internet-public notebook and record of work.
Any models here will still show up in my main blog in a highlight form.
You may see several of these project threads from me in the future.

The Guild Myrmidian is my new name for an AoS Cities of Sigmar project I've had planned out a bit in advance.
I need to build an army from the conquistadors set from Wargames Atlantic. Partially because I'm working on the armies for a set piece fight between Aztecs and conquistadors as a demo of the usability of the kits. Partly for self gratification purposes because my name is on the box.
That army would need to be based for block formation warfare, which age of Sigmar is not.
So I'm round basing these and eventually will be using bases with magnet capabilities.
So, double duty, which means the paint scheme isn't necessarily going to be historical.
But that's ok because I'm basing this army off the yellow/red combination of taalabecland, which is conveniently the royal colors of Spain.
This project is going to sit as a floater in between my Aztecs and my commission work.
First on the docket are 5 halberdiers and 1 arquebusier, which have been primed at a mid-tone to play nice with contrast but also be a decent primer for Metallics.
