8th Ed. question about Skink Warchiefs

well like the topic say, how many do I need in a army? im going in to town to pick some up as they are on seal atm at my local shop.

will run them in a 2k army

you dont need really need them.

Skink warchiefs are not taken unless you have something special planned for them (such as using the warspear and a stegadon)

I'll third that. You need a Skink Chief like you need a mole in your head (i.e. not at all).

EDIT: Having said that, you may notice I've advocated their use in a couple of other posts. I advocate them only as a fun alternative to more standard options.
