Any word about Kroq gar?

Considering End Times hints heavily at him surviving it would be odd to have him only exist as a memory. Perhaps the odd glow he receives after fighting the verminlord ascended him do such a state.

I have yet to get the battletome and I was wondering if any of you could enlighten me.

The only named character I remember seeing in the Battletome is actually Lord Kroak, but I haven't got it to hand to check so I could be wrong.
