This video is really long, If you don't want to watch the whole video the bullet points are below it.

-The CCP propaganda outlets constantly say that Chinese people never eat dogs but there are mountains of evidence that at least some Chinese people eat dogs.

It's a good analogy for how their propaganda works. "Don't trust your lying eyes! No dog meat is eaten here!"

-The problem is not that the dogs are eaten or even that the method dogs are butchered is deliberately cruel (that enhances the chi power of the meat). You can ascribe that to cultural differences.

Arguably Indians are more offended by Americans eating cows than Americans are offended by Han Chinese eating dogs but we don't have a small army of propagandists telling everyone in India "No Americans eat hamburgers!"

They don't touch on it directly, but I would argue that the pets commonly get stolen and sold to meat markets is a good example of communist countries have food issues.

I don't know a modern culture that frequently eats dogs that is not communist. It's popped up in Venezuela recently for instance.

But the main point is the CCP can lie about the consumption of dog meat despite mountains of evidence that dog meat is eaten routinely in every ethnically Han region and there are local Chinese groups that have formed to oppose the practice of eating dog meat, the CCP denies it happens it all to the outside world.

If they can lie about this, they can lie about anything. That means it is far more credible that will make bald faced lies about Covid, genocide, economic indicators, pollution, military maneuvers, borders, sexual human trafficking, organ human trafficking, etc.

    I am very depressed now.

I guess the greenest energy available is...wait for it...nuclear power.

    That's counter intuitive.

Yep, it's years i know it.
But even if alternative energies as solar and hydro could be "perfect", they just cannot answer to the actual massive need for energy.
And nuclear is by far the source that can give more power with the lower impact.

That video was both sad and hilarious, thank you. The sad part is all the evil stuff. The hilarious part is how the CCP corruption and corner cutting undermines everything they do.

So I was in Bed, Bath and Beyond buying a new bedroom set. I paid an extra $50 for the one set made in India instead of China.

It took a while for the store employee to help me find a set that didn't have a Made in China label. She wondered why I cared so much.

I explained, most of the Chinese textiles come from the Uighur region and involve slave labor. Her eyes revealed shock and then she said "I won't buy Chinese textiles either."

Maybe, she was humoring me, but at this point this is the only thing I feel like I can do to fight the CCP. Raise awareness and tell people to avoid buying Chinese imports.

The best way to prevent World War III, is to starve the CCP of money and wait for all their buildings to fall down.

A man who acts in accordance with his principles, even when it entails personal loss. Hard not to respect that!

Potentially off topic, but the PLA doesn't look much better when they march.

I remember reading a lesser known article by George Orwell suggesting that goose stepping soldiers look silly on purpose because it's an intimidation factor. Everyone is forced to take the display seriously or get punished.

In a liberal democracy, soldiers would get mocked for marching in such a fashion.

I never noticed it, until Trump in the first year of term made a comment that we don't have US soldiers marching in parades ever even though other democratic countries do have soldiers marching in parades (though they don't goose step).

They said it would take at least six months to train a small regiment to march in a parade and stay in step. There is a lot of logistics to putting tanks and missle launchers in a parade too because you have to make sure the street is strong enough to withstand the weight. It takes a lot of time and money to make these displays and it's probably better not to mess with it and I am glad we never did.

I have the PLA/CCP have numerous sites specifically for videoing propaganda parade footage.

I feel less bad about the PLA increasing military budget.

We had one after WW2. Had lots of tanks and artillery.

Definitely had a different tone compared to a lot of the communist parades/marches tho.

Okay, so never was a bad choice of words. As of 2021, the US military does not have any units trained for parades and do not seem to intend to be changing that any time shortly.

Also, yes, tone is very important.

Context too. The WWII makes it a celebration. Given that the PLA and North Korean army have not had a military engagement in a very long time, so this is mostly a show of force for their own people. Also the US wanted to honor their dead, while the PLA often denies their dead to save face.

Goose stepping is extremely hard to do and very tiring.

NYC is one of the main ports of call for CCP spies. So is academia.

This has been going on a while. If anyone reading this article is a college student. One thing you can do is organize student activists against ANY international academic association tied to China because ALL of them are policing Chinese nationals abroad and/or keeping an eye on Tibetans, Mongolians, and Uighers abroad.

Remember, Chinese people are not to blame, the CCP is, but if you befriend a Chinese person living abroad in your country and you are tied to anti-CCP activity, you might endanger your friend. :(

I watched a few videos telling me what I already know. The CCP run business are violating international maritime law and raping the seas around the world.

I did a little bit of digging and I discovered that most restaurants and frozen fish merchants make the source of their seafood opaque. Unless I get fresh fish, it is near impossible for me to be certain that fish I consume was not caught by an illegal Chinese fishing vessel.

    I like fish. :(

I saw Peng Shuai's "impromptu" interview. I don't speak Mandarin so I have to take the translator's word for the nuances of the Chinese language.

I do know how to read obvious body language. I cannot remember ever seeing someone so broken and scared.

I once heard it explained, that no one in China believes the forced confessions that are regularly televised but the people are not supposed to believe it. They are supposed to be scared by it.

But this latest interview seems to be aimed at people outside of China. Does the CCP really think the outside world is this stupid? Are they trying to scare non-Chinese? If so, this is probably going to backfire by emboldening their enemies. Is this propaganda only really intended for consumption by Chinese people? If so, why use a non-Chinese media puppet and needlessly showcase Yao Ming?

If the CCP acts like a villain, that is one thing. But if the CCP acts like an unhinged villain, that is another.
