8th Ed. ranged attacks from a character with higher than 1A

I'm looking at Oxyotl and he has attacks characteristic of 3. Most ranged attackers only have a 1 there. Is it covered in the BRB or somewhere than you only get 1 ranged attack per model? I know the WE have their bow that allows you to shoot as many times as you have attacks. Seems a shame such a deadly model only gets the double tap instead of at least maybe 3+ shots.

Yes. The Attacks stat is only for close combat.

I thought so. He should get a special 3x blowpipe :-/

Too bad we couldn't mount him on an ancient steg and have him fire one of the giant blowpipes. Hmm, sniping 2d6 shots with poison on 5+ would be sweet

heh, that would be awesome to see indeed. I wonder how they fire the blowpipes on the steg anyhow. some pneumatic system maybe?

The tube is pretty long maybe its packed full of darts and the skink blows really hard..... or its magic.
