Fiction Rat Poison

Really nice story. I hope no one minds that I am digging a few antiques but I did enjoy reading this thread and I wanted to let you know.

Maybe now the the contest is over, you can add a link to the contest and maybe a little about how you started writing it or how did you came up with the idea. Or it could be me that love to know the whole process.

All the stories are there, the theme was horror. So I thought, what would be the most horrifying thing to a saurus?
So, I started with the ending, and tried to figure out how to get there, without making it conclusive whether the rat was actually in the slann or whether the main character finally fell to a rat disease and was deliriously killing a slann. That's up to the reader to decide
