I’ve done a fair bit more, although I keep forgetting to post it so I’ll do it now while I remember!
First of all, my Thundertusk. He was great to paint with all that lovely, lovely, lovely Ceramite White

. I ended up giving up after my
fourth(!) coat on the tusks and just went straight to the glaze. Still quite a nice centrepiece model though
Apologies for poor image quality.
I have also begun work on my gaming board! It’s going to be similar to how I’ve based my figures, with the sea coming onto the sand. So far I’ve got the boards and painted on the sea parts and some of the sand. The next steps will be to finish the sand colours, varnish the water and glue loads of sand onto the beach part. Should hopefully look pretty good!

By the way, do you guys know of any good ‘ice effects paints’ that are easily obtained in the UK? For my Beastclaw Raiders I’m hoping to do them pretty similarly to my Seraphon, but with snow on the sand and the water frozen over. If the ice works based on the colour beneath that would be great as it would go with the board, but if not it isn’t essential, as it probably wouldn’t be that realistic anyway!
