Okay, been a while but I'm here with a quick update!
First up, I've got a better source for all the 3D models I make; a Thingiverse account! If you've got your own means of 3D printing then this should work great for you. For those of you who don't, I'm toying with the idea of putting these files on Shapeways as well, let me know what you think about them and their pricing.
I've got regular access to Solidworks again now and will be finishing the base dial for the balewind Vortex conversion soon, then uploading that and the top sections as one item once I've done a test print.
Painting wise, I got three Imperial Guard Sentinels for christmas that I've already assembled, and I'm getting back into painting. Plan of action is:
Going for a white colour scheme with copper details and red/gold squadron markings.

- Paint Sentinels
- Paint Tempestus Scions
- Finish assembling and paint Skavens Skryre army for a friend (commission)
- Finish purchases for this year's Armies on Parade board, then assemble and paint.
- Continue with Seraphon/more Imperial Guard from there.
