I want them to look sinister but heroic so I have gone for a batman/joker look, still a lot to do on them but thought they were worth sharing at this point.

Great job! I really like the weapons! Aren't you worried that they look too different from your other troops' weapons? Oh, by the way, did you have to glue the tongue back to one of them? Mine arrived broken, and I couldn't get it back right...

First off they look absolutely SPECTACULAR! To me, they don't look to be black/grey in theme, but instead blue. In the end it doesn't matter because they turned out very very very well. Wonderful job!

...and they're on squares! :)

I filed the tongue down on one as I could not find the end piece, and I like my troops to be variety of colours they actually look really good set up with the red skinks.

They are defo black and grey but the final highlight is blue horror edge paint ;)

And the surprise is, I got 2 sets so will do the others purple and yellow!

Wow! I really love them, Crowsfoot! They look super! I really like the green on the weapons. It makes them pop and that was where my eye immediately went what I first saw them. :wideyed:

As for your second set, I'd say yellow on top and purple on bottom for some variety between your units. These that you just finished, are dark on top and light on bottom, so if you want them different, you might want to change that up. Just a thought.

Hey, take a pic of them in a Cohort of Skinks, please! I'd love to see what they look like ranked up with Skinks!
 
They look completely different from the other pictures, not bad just different. They look more blue in the other pictures, whereas now they look black.

Personally I think I like the black a bit better, it reminds me more of a Crocodile
