I love your bases. The models (although not my style) are nice as well.
I can't really tell if those are real reflections on the armor or if they are painted. If it is the latter: Wow! Those look very natural.

Btw how do you make the flowers/cotton things?

The reflections on the spears, sword etc are painted, the flowers are from a supplier I use on ebay.

I don't think the UK has ever had high humidity!

Old can of lacquer, I will gloss it the reapply the matt.

Army painter Anti shine.

I'm going back to Testors Dullcote expensive but never had a problem with it.

I had the same problem when humidity was high, so don't varnish when it's raining....my models came out as if I had blown flour about them, although the space where i varnished was sheltered. I can understand your mood...

Kitchen extension has killed my hobby time but hopefully back on it September, list of things coming up.
