Amazing work @Crowsfoot ! Do you have any plans to add his stegadon in the future?

I really like the spots on his skin, and the hand prints!

Quick up date guys.

I've bought a start collecting Seraphon box and I am going to do a sort of what you can build from the box type of tutorial, I won't be painting them yet just assembling and showing what is possible.

I will put it in a separate thread and hopefully get it sticked once done then we can all direct new players too it.

Over and out for now :)

I think that is a great use for your "spare" Slann! He looks great! Regarding his mount; you might be able to get away with having him "float" above the backs of two Stegadons? Or simply build a throne that bridges both of their backs? Just an avenue of thought for you to consider.

Yeah still pondering that one, I'm not sticking him on the dread but I am looking for a bigger stegadon probably a plastic model I can paint and convert.

A really cool model.
I will proooobably borrow one or two ideas from it....

I LOVE the result. Looks even better than the initial idea before painted.
May I ask how did you manage such an awesome base work ? I love it and looks like a rela jungle, just what I want for my own
Hope I haven't missed a comment about it ! Good job !

Cheers, for the base I used some grey slate to weight and fix the model, being plastic it has a habit of moving, I then applied pva glue and sand in areas, painted it all rhinox hide then painted the slate eshin grey, I washed it all with agrax earthshade but did not highlight it.

I then added plastic palm trees as logs and separated the leaves and stuck them on as ferns, x long grass tufts were then added around each one with a few white flower tuffs scattered to break up the green, the skinks were old ones I rebased to help give a sense of the Dreads size.

Agreed he does look amazing :wideyed::artist::artist::artist:, and the base really helps him come to life and give a sense of scale!
