Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

Do you have a stockpile of these lovely painted models, or are you painting and posting them in real time? (in which case we shall refer to you as the paint god)

:)

Wow both models are stunning, that mortis engine looks especially ghostly! :walkingdead:

Well done!

I finished them last week and didn't have time to take pics, I'm trying to get the bases done this week on around 100 models.

Tthose all look awesome!
Also great job on the Terrorgheist's base, that's truly impressive.

(Im a fan of the mortis too now i think about it. All those green tones look very good!!)

It looks like the ghosts are really glowing. As someone who also goes for green ghosts I have to say I enjoy those a lot.
Nothing against @Ritual and his cold blue ones but these are right up my alley.

Looks like progressive green wash over white

It's actually Biel tan green at the tail, then Waywatcher half way up then Nihilakh oxide, then drybrush with white skull.

If you want them a darker green base them with Celestra grey and drybrush with Pallid wych

You can do this as well,

Base white then wash with Nihilakh oxide then when dry do a recess wash of Bieltan green (keep it in the deepest recesses) then drybrush Ulthuan grey and then do a spot highlight of white scar.
