I hate you....not really but kinda... my LGS just submitted a formal complaint to Forgeworld that threatened legal action due to the ridiculous delay. heres hoping it lights a fire under their ass.
Oh no I thought of you when I saw it had shipped and was like theres no way I got mine shipped if theres others with orders floating out there. Hopefully you can get yours in your hands soon.

Thanks for the visual. I remember looking at that Kickstarter. I thought that creature labeled 60 was a Carnasaur. (Because shorter front legs I guess...)
A Bad rep is not what a dread will get, you have to find a list where he fits in. 420 points are all little bit, especially in 1000-1500 point games. With a Nice LoSaT he can get so much value Out of nowhere and with His Potential to oneshot keYunits he cannot be ignored. I personally havent played my as much often as i would, but when i set him up, He is always feared from the beginning.

I was able to insert the beast in a 1000 points game, alongside a stegadon (and I did), but at 420 it's too costly. Probably it can still be done in an effective way, providing you summon things to swarm the rest of the battlefield… Slann 260 Dread 420 10 skinks 60 10 knights 180 2 razordons 80 or Slann 260 Astrlith 160 Dread 420 10 skinks 60 10 skinks 60 1 salamander 40
I read this thread from top to bottom and all the while thinking about whether the wife would react to a £150/$230 hit on my finances. I came so close to buying one it is unreal but can't currently justify it. In the back of my mind I was just worried about how much game time I'd get out of it too. Wether people would let me actually use the FW model in GW set-up (even though I see nothing wrong with it).
