Ripper turned Night Fury

Yup, I did it, I paid homage to the movie How To Train Your Dragon. Not a great painting job, but i'm no Monet.
Here is the first of three Ripperdactyl made to look like a night fury from the movie. Enjoy, comments of all kinds are welcome.

P.S. My skinks and saurus are all black base with colored scales so that kinda made the riders on this particular model not pop as much as I would have liked.

You totally need to clip the tail and attach a mechanical replacement. Maybe for the skink chief.

I agree with Matt, a mechanical tail vane would be a fantastic conversion.

I you have a spare snake from the Basti "Sotek's Arse" engine, you could have your Hiccup holding it up like the black and yellow stripey eel in the movie.

Hmm, going by that picture Toothless has blue hightlights on his skin, so maybe a blue wash on the model.
