Blog Ritual's Army - Lizard on Lizard Action (For the Waaaaagh!)

I'm planning on a full nurgle Daemon army so I can use it for both AoS and 40k...

That is pretty nice.

That is one HUGE benefit of AOS having round bases. Great reason (though heresy) to pick up a chaos army!:artist:

The four big ones last week? Yes I did but I don't like them that much.

I think the new Great unclean one is fantastic, bit pricey at £85 so will look at getting it with 20% off, I'm like @Ritual building a Nurgle force for both game systems, along with a new Death force (again)

I'm holding out for the new death releases, I want ghost pirates.

Me too, I'm painting my Sart collecting box spectral theme again to tie in with the new releases, hopefully.

Now that I think about it I am a bit angry that I don't like Nurgle models _that_ much.

Because from what I read from their new play style they sound like loads of fun!

I almost hope my friend builds them so I can experience them. But not sure I want to play against yet another top tier army doing mortal wound spam... :(

At least Death gets something new as well.
I don't see the Seraphon being competitive outside of Kroaknado lists in the future, with all those MW spammer armies coming.

I just won an Incarnate Elemental of Fire for under £30 on eBay... Could turn out to be a shitty recast, but if its the real thing then that's a bargain. Won't be being touched for a while - it's for my Fyreslayers/Collegiate army display board. Probably not this years Armies on Parade as I have a good idea for a Nurgle one I want to get done yet.

Exciting to get my hands on it at last though!

@Ritual I saw in Chicken Lips thread that you have tried the Chameleon colors from GreenStuffWorld.

Have you tried using vanish over them? Wondering if that is possible, or if it would ruin it.

You can definitely use varnish over them. I even used washes and the effect still comes through...

Which set did you buy? both?

What colour did you use on the wings of the drone?

Finished building the Glottkin last night and got the two little guy stuck on corks ready for painting. The big guy is waiting to have some liquid green stuff applied to it.

Got a job interview on Friday, so didn't get any painting done after that, opted to do some interview prep instead.

Save him for Feb when the monthly painting challenge starts

eBay purchase turned up, it's either real or the best recast I've ever seen. Treating it as real... Bargain!
