Blog Ritual's Army - Lizard on Lizard Action (For the Waaaaagh!)

Some progress, I need to decide what I am doing about his head though. I have another tyranid claw to attach, and a bunch more tentacles to make. His whole right leg needs doing too.

Still plenty to be getting on with, anyway...

My plan is to thin out some liquid green stuff and coat much of the metal areas to give it some texture and then scratch some out to give it a rusted texture in places.

I finished sculpting what I wanted to, coated the guy in a watered down liquid green stuff + typhus corrosion layer to give it some grit to all of the metal pieces.

Blasted down some base colours with the airbrush quickly.

Used a modified version of my very old skeleton style metal I did. Looks good on this model.

Weathered the bejesus out of it. This is how I want it to look all over now....

This is where it's at now. Time to clean the brushes before the wife gets home from work!

Very nice, this is why I love nurgle so much it really tests your limits on converting and painting, I can’t wait to see it progress.

It was hard not to enjoy! Got to go wild and splash paint around and it didn't matter, no such things as mistakes when you're just making stuff grimy and gooey!

Exactly and it's so relaxing not having to keep in the lines!!

Heftig geil! This is so awesome I had to switch to mother language...;)

Thanks all, it was definitely a fun project. Might have to start a new one while I'm on a roll.
