Blog Ritual's Army - Lizard on Lizard Action (For the Waaaaagh!)

Was awesome going through all this :D too much to take note on but overall - epic :)

Can you discuss the use of purple for your shadows? It is a complementary color to the green you are using but will you tone it done at all? As someone who is trying really hard to get more contrast this interests me.

It's been shaded down significantly with weathering powders now. The idea is to end with a tint of the colour in there rather than it being over powering. Lights fading here so can't get a great picture of it, but you get the rough idea...

You can do the same with yellow, shade in dark red but works better with an airbrush

Looking good!
That's a very nice model, except assembling it sucks because of the warping. How was yours? I almost went crazy attachnig the weapon when I built mine.

I just went with it then gap filled and sanded what I could, I also made another bracelet out of green stuff to cover one of the more annoying spots.

One of the worse finecast models for sure!

I'm convert a Carnosaur into an Engine of the Gods, cos the Stegadon box is being reprinted so who knows when it'll be back available... and I'm never gonna run two Carnos in a single list anyway.

You could use a plastic dino kit?
