Does a slann get a look out sir role against spells that use templates?

Also is the look out sir role 2+ when he's in the unit?

If you look at the section in the back, where it has a chart of every model's "troop type", the slann is listed as infantry. Therefore, being in an infantry unit he gets the 2+ LOS.

I see that, but in the BRB it only explains Look out sir for champions on page 93.

It's the same for the Slann and if you check out page 39 (I believe, maybe 36?) you will see the rules for the vortex spell type which characters also get look out sir rolls for.

Yeah, it's laid out a bit weird. Page 99 under "unusual shooting attacks" should clear it up.
