I believe that their magnetic field will eventually weaken over time. Of course things like excessive heat or impact shock can demagnetize them. Bear in mind that I'm not an expert though.
My thought: Make an actual levitating slann using that technology. You wife could even use it in a cake!
The problem is that in the example above, you have to super cool the superconductor using liquid nitrogen in order to maintain the levitation. I have seen a hobbyist pull off the levitation trick for an Eldar vehicle using only permanent magnets, but it is definitely not an easy task. He had made a whole series of calculations to get all the magnet placements and angles just right.
AM I CATCHING A HINT OF YOU NOT EXPECTING ME TO BOTHER DOING JUST THAT?? NO PROBLEM AT ALL! VERY CONVENIENT! This is what I have always dreamed to Archive .......with a slann
Definitely not the new Ghostbusters, that's for sure. That trailer has generated a huge level of negative feedback.
Yo, I just played my first 9th Age game (which I won quite handidly, if I may add ), and I have to say I think the reactions are overblown. It is true that the internal balance is in some places rubbish, examplewise the Alpha carnosaur or the Skinks who lost their poison. Personally I always preferred ranking them up to Skirmishing them, but losing their shields for javelins is still uncanny. Still, Saurian Ancients are a force to be reckoned with, I wouldn't buff too much in the next change. That being said I have to admit I much prefer Eliasson's 9th Edition to 9th Age.
