7th Ed. Saurus Cavalry/ Warriors

Trying to figure out how much armor save the cavalry units get :/ I know that there is an extra + 2 for being on the cold one (because of the thick skin), but do they get an extra one for the shields aswell? The same goes for the Saurus Warriors.

What is their total armor save?

cal is 5+ scaly skin, 4+ with the shield so 2+ with the cold one thick skin bonus

inf is 5+ scaly skin, 4+ with shield and then 3+ if they are in close combat and using their handweapon I believe

so spears are 4+ unless they drop spears and use handweapon

least that is my understanding
