Can anyone point me to some nice looking Scar-Vet BSB conversions? I've been playing some low point games lately and I would like to have a model dedicated to this role. Right now I'm just using the Temple Guard standard bearer as a stand in. I don't really like the GW default model and I've got plenty of bits to make my own.

Specifically I am looking for some sweet Battle Standard ideas. Something to get the creative juices flowin'.

Thanks!

I made my BSB by converting the AoW lizardmen hero, sculpted by Rikard. Here he is:

(Could not figure out how to post an image here using Imageshack -_-' )

I used the great weapon arm, but cut away everything but the thick leather wrapped part of the handle. Then I cut up a saurus banner pole and fixed either side of it to the handle. The banner itself is made from the front of a stegadon howdah, Zombie Dragon horns, some feathers from the saurus banners and a pair of saurus spears.

To post your picture, just use the pic button on the control panel as you post. Or you could put the brackets around pic and /pic to do the same thing.

Damn nice bsb.
How does he look ranked with regular saurus blends in nicely?

Hes quite a bit larger than normal saurus warriors, and has a far more stocky build. Coupled together with a huge banner, he does stand out, but not unresonably so. He's very noticable, and makes sure people know hes a scar veteran, but hardly looks like a kroxigor squished into a saurus unit. Can be a bitch to make rank up though. Had to fiddle about with his tail and stance a little to make him fit into a saurus unit.

Oooh. Me likey. That's a great idea for that bit from the Stegadon box since I wasn't planning on putting it on my Steg anyway. Your idea may be stolen, though with a different Saurus model. Thanks!
