I will post a pic tomorrow. Mostly have focused on further edge highlighting, painting claws, the ropes and base coating some of the gold. All in all, fairly minor progress so far
Here is the most recent progress on the carno. As a bonus, I'm including a pic of my fiance's great unclean one. She's still choosing which arms she wants to use on the big poppa.
Thanks Lizardmanperson. I appreciate the compliment, and will pass along your praise my lil lady as well. Aginor, I am also super happy with how the yellow looks. If I were to do one thing differently, though, it'd be to paint the yellow sections white first and then yellow. As it is, I needed 4-5 thin coats of yellow to cover most of the blue. I think painting it white, and then using yellow, would have given it a more even coverage and I would not have needed to use quite as much paint.
So, I FINALLY finished painting up my unit of 20 skinks. I still gotta go and base them, but they are finally tabletop ready. Also, the fiance bought the mausoleum terrain kit, so I spent a little time painting up the base for one of the statues. It's looking pretty sick! Last but not least, I bought a Shalaxi Helbane to paint, which I am thrilled to give a shot, while also being absolutely terrified of ruining. It is just SUCH a pretty model.
Finally got around to magnetizing bases and coming up with a transport system! The baking pans are working awesome and I got a few plastic bins that they fit inside of. I can now transport my army without fear of anyone breaking or spiky bits getting snagged on Styrofoam. Total game changer for just 10 bucks!
I was finishing up my unit of Saurus warriors buuuuut got distracted and started working on this big, bad, beauty.
Loving how much your Sinks have come along and your other models look good as well. You sure as hell aren't going to miss that Carnosaur coming your way from the other side of the tabletop!
Got my hands on some Kroxigor that need some love, and got my hands on a second carnosaur that was previously started. Now I will have both a Scarvet and an Oldblood! Lots of new guys to paint!
Alright, so it's been quite a while since I have last painted. But, I am doing a gift exchange with my brother. He runs Night Lords? so I am painting him a Dark Apostle. Here's the current progress I have made on these buggers who are completely out of my wheelhouse!
