I was wondering anyone had a scanned copy (or can point me to an online copy) of the assembly instructions for the Forge World Chaos Dwarfs Iron Daemon.

I have them, but they're buried deep in the basement storage. I won't be back home for a good while yet, but I'll dig them out if you still need them. Don't be shy to remind me sometime next week.

A couple of quotes from CDO:

"Try contacting the manufacturer. I believe it is against website policy to pass along assembly instructions as they are a copyrighted material.

Grimbold Blackhammer"

"Forgeworld replaced mine, send them an email."

From DakkaDakka:

"It seems that many Iron Daemons lack assembly instructions from Forge World. I'd give Forge World an E-mail, say you purchased an Iron Daemon and that it lacks assembly instructions. No need to tell them you bought it secondhand.

A quick google search didn't turn up any instructions. :( "

Let's see if @Karak Norn Clansman will answer the call.
An excellent idea!

Thank you kindly. I shall keep you apprised.

I shall give it a try! Good advice.

I'll also probably inquire over at EEFL.

Alas, no luck. I emailed them, but they demanded an order number or till receipt or bank statement before they will email out the instructions.

Are you sure there are full instructions for it?
Sometimes forge world only give you this:

Not sure. It may only be a component list after all.

To be fair, I can't be certain that the Iron Daemon came with any assembly instructions. The only reason I feel it might have is because I got some basic assembly instructions with my Magma Cannon and Death Shrieker Rocket kits. One of the 3 pages for each was a component list page similar to the one you photographed, followed by two basic assembly pages.

Magma Cannon:

Death Shrieker:

Then there are probably similar instructions for the iron daemon aswell.
(The picture is just something I found when googling for it, not mine)

Don't they believe a "come on, it's a Christmas present, ordered through a shop in a town that i don't live in"? :angelic:

Hahaha... they most definitely do not! Part of their email response included:

"If the product was purchased as a gift or not by yourself, you’ll need the buyer to contact us directly or ask them for the order details" :punch:

Ah, those cunning rascals... :p

Just a quick reminder. If you get a moment to take a look for it, I'd greatly appreciate it. My search for the instructions is still ongoing. :(

Thanks for the reminder! I had planned to search for them today, but work and minor sickness came in the way. I'm not sure I'll get time tomorrow (I'll be gone over the weekend, most likely). Please remind me again next week if you don't hear anything from me before then. I will search for them for you. My apologies. I'm resting from overworking at the moment, and isn't much at home.

...and I also see you cannot be caught off guard so easily… :D
I am... inevitable!

No worries. There is no rush... I have plenty of Chaos Dwarf projects to attend to (and I am notoriously slow!).

Please remind me again next week if you don't hear anything from me before then.
Will do! :)

They do ^ exist @NIGHTBRINGER or at least they did at one time.

That pic above is from a thread on Chaos Dwarfs Online. The hobbyist’s screenname was Kyllingmannen. But all his pix have died the death of photobucket (may their name be accursed forever) when viewed in the thread.

He liked to park the machine on top of them as a backdrop:

The Iron Daemon has a total of 51 parts, while a regiment, or unit, box of 19 orc boyz have 95 parts to assemble. So it's not worse than building two ranks of orcs! I've seen much worse flash on other GW-minis, and it's both fast and easy to superglue it together. It looks much more daunting and laborous to assemble than it is; the instructions are quite easy to follow. (And the crew lent a helping hand (with whipping the ogres!)).

The best part is it has proven its worth in battle already; steamrolling over the board, outflanking the, obviously caught-off-guard, enemy Tomb King army and shredding the Hierophant to smitherees by turn 3. Hashut be praised!

Here is another pic I found:

Those last two I had to download to my phone and upload them to here. So save them off if you want them.
