AoS Seraphon 1K list

Hello!


I'm new to AOS and will be playing whit my girlfriend's sister's boyfriend in a couple of weeks.


He will be playing LON whit Mannfred as a general.


His points are somewhere 960-980.


Down below is what I have to play whit:


Lord Kroak

Slann Starmaster

Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (not fully assembled)

Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (not fully assembled)

Saurus Astrolith Bearer

Saurus Knights x 8

Saurus Warriors x 12

Terradon Riders x 3


Should I convert one of the Saurus knights to a Scar-Veteran on cold blood and go whit the Oldblood on Carnosaurs?


What's the best build for a 1k list whit the units above?

This list is a bit limited, it is pretty much your whole collection. My advice is to be aggressive with your Carno and not worry about it dieing. If you can trade if for Manfred you will be in a very strong position. Doppleganger's Cloak Should allow it to stay alive for 2 rounds of combat at minimum. As long as your Astrolith rolls a 3+ for each of your hero phases you will able to resummon a new Carno by the time the first ones dies.

I was thinking about Skinks or another starter box but I'm open for tips.

Skinks would be great. They are our main objective holders and grabbers.

Okay, so skinks it is.


Do you recommend Meteoric Javelin, Boltspitter or Moonstone Club?


What's the next step after skinks if I'm building towards 1500 points?

Boltspitters and Starbuclkers for the vast majority. Normally 1/5th of the skinks I own I build as Jav and Buckler. My recommendation is to only start adding in javs after you own 40x Boldspitters.
