Right.. if it just counts as a fixed number it's slightly less broken, but it's still horrificly powerfull.

Not at all broken, there's only like 2 scenarios that use this special rule. Just encourages people to think when list building. Gives a little bit of variety

The variety is nice, and broken might be the wrong word. But it does feel like it goes against the spirit of the objective, at least in this particular example. They're considerably sturdier and better in melee than the average wizard while not being super expensive (when compared to say, using a vampire on zombie dragon to grab the objective) making them absolutly terrific at this kind of objective as they can take and hold it on their own with relative ease while the opposing wizard will have to bring a bodyguard to fight em off (unless he's afformentioned vampire on a zombie dragon). It feels like an example that'd border on broken, or is at least extremely annoying to face, due to how effective it is without any real downsides so you don't really have any options when facing them beyond just murdering them all.

Evocators on foot are incredibly strong but they are very slow and not very hard to kill. If you need a cheap wizard you can (and should) bring Starpriests instead. Their unique spell is excellent, they have a tiny profile that can hide behind our big monsters, and they are a vassal for the Slann to channel spells. I've been including 2 in my lists lately.

I could be wrong, but I believe it was a wizard or a model with an artefact counts as 20. It might of been only wizards but I thought it was also relic bearers. If so, you could have a strong combat model instead of a flimsy wizard.

You are correct. He could also have gone for it with the EotG.

I know it feels a bit off. But on the other side, you have a way around being blocked by super big hoards. And I guess the spirit of AOS is that there always is a chance

mm right, well then it's less of an outlier within that objective. Though I do feel it makes the objective less interesting. Having only relativly squishy wizards be able to go claim the objective and needing to send along a bodyguard seems interesting and a nice switch from the usual.

The particular match we were talking about, normal models can take the objective, but in places of arcane power(something like that I'm a noob..) Only people with artefacts and wizards? Can control it
