Thanks for that one. Your thoughts on End Times mimics my own, and if it continues into 9th Ed then I probably won't play either. :/

One thing about the actual battle I have to ask is:
Why didn't you fire your cannons into Imrik every turn? From my reading of the Skaven book, you can throw it into slaves if they're in combat. Every model that gets hit whilst in that combat (whether slaves or enemies) means you roll a 4+ to get the enemy(otherwise a slave is hit).
The way I figure it, you try to hit as many slaves as possible because every slave hit is a 50% chance of hitting the dragon, with D6 wounds, no armour.
