8th Ed. Skink Chief & Stegadon

Quick question, If a skink chief is mounted on a stegadon with the giant bow. Can he shoot the bow at his much better BS than the regular skink crew? Or can only skink crew fire the bow?

There is a thread about this on one or two of the subforums but my quick googling skills fail me to locate em.
I think the consensus about the issue was that no, the chief cannot use the bow since only _Skink Crew_ can use the bow and the chief is not _Skink Crew_.

I see what your talking about but it says he replaces one of the crew not becomes one of the crew. its understandable that he replaces one of the crew, only so much room on top of the steg, that and so you know that my taking the chief you are limiting the amount of skinks to attack aswell.

I was being a tad facetious. On the plus side, you can give the chief his own ranged weapons to make the steg more of a threat
