7th Ed. Skink Skirmisher FAQ and Index (Updated with Picture)

in the diagram about rediecting it shows the unit pursuing to the right. Why does this happen? I've looked through the rules for skrimishers and pursuing but did not find anything that implied that this would happen.

 

It is answered in the GW BRB FAQ which can be found on the GW website. It is because when you charge a unit if skirmishers, you go for the closest model that is within line of sight. In the case of the diagram, the absolutel closest model to the unit is the one that is off to the right so they charge in that direction toward him, and consequently the skirmishers flee in that direction to the right.
