OK!

mostly i play lizzardmen if im being honest.
sadly my lovly 7th ED lizzardman skrox army has become a cheesy tourny list so im revamping my 1000 point warrior army,

in 7th i ran 3 units of 10 slaaneshy mauraders with great weapons.
3 units of 7 slaaneshy horsemen
topped of with an exhalted on steed and the whip
and last but not least a warshine,

it usually did well despite the lack of actual warriors
so, as a new 2k 8th ed army, it needs some loving, and a new list.

1st up, the deamon prince,
i said when the trygon came out that i wanteed to do a Quetzel style DP with the plastic kit, when it came out. and having seen the one on the GW blog, ive decided to go for it. its currently sitting in a vice waiting for the hacksaw.

2nd up, dragon ogers,
being a lizzy player i have LOADS of COR kicking around, so a box of ogers has joind the que behing the DP waiting for the saw, although, having seen some of the very front heavy pics on here and on other sites, the legs will be cut and repositioned into a more bipedal stance.

3rd the exalted
one will be the giant booby snake,
for the other im planning on using the warmaster greater deamon, a lovly model that should see more use as a slaaneshy character

the trygon tail was far to large to fit on a monster base,
thankfully, theres a marvelous oppertunity to use the arcane ruins ive never been able to find a use for

ive used the rest of the arcane ruins to add a bit of variety to the units, and to tie the force together,
i quite like it. what do you guys think?

Cool, they look good so far! I like the daemon conversion with the trygon tail.

Moving this to the lesser races painting subforum though. :)

Ahh you got it right in the first post, need to use the pic tag not the img tag. ;)

Also, now that I look closely at the other angles of him, that is one of the best daemon princes I have seen! Can't wait to see it painted up.
