That is awesome beyond wordsHere is the Slann I painted and converted. It proudly sat upon the top of my wedding cake along with a Spellweaver that my wife painted.
Thank you kindly! That is awesome beyond words
This is beautiful, those idol heads in the movement tray are an incredible touch, plus the purple body of the Slann really helps those yellow markings pop.
My Slann should be here this weekend, I can't wait to get started working on it. I've got some big ideas.
Worst case scenario is that you remove all the paint and then try again from scratch no? It never hurts to give it a try. My Slann is here and I need to go buy some paint shades that I don't already have so I can post a picture when he's all done.Me too but im waiting for my painting to improve.

True, I got the forgeworld slann of ebay and a metal slann, the metal slann im going to convert but lacking ideas atm, I wanted to try and suspend it using "lightning" but Im still searching for a fesiable soultion.

Hmm, what if you can find some sort of action figure or toy online with some transparent lightning bolts, cut them off of the toy, and then glue it to the bottom of his platform and use that to suspend him on the base?
I got one off of Ebay as well. It's a pretty rare model!
Yeah hes pretty cool so im keeping him nice and simple when I paint him.
I've been saving that one to paint later. I'd like to improve my painting before tackling that project.
