So it begins :D Update 23: Kroxigors based :D

I had to ask my pal at gw as he loves to add water to his bases haha

Step by step:

Base: Regal Blue
Layer 1: Sotek Green
Dry Brush: Temple Guard Blue
Dry Brush 2: Ceramite White on the edges where the water meets the land and a very light dry brush overall.
Ardcoat Layer to give it a shine
Glaze Layer: Very light layer of Guilliman Blue
Ardcoat layer 2
Drybrush 3: Ceramite white on the edge of the river again
Arcoat Layer 3.

Finished :)

I plan to carry the river on down my larger based models. Tempted to make Tetto'eko base all water so his mount is hovering over a ruin in the water.

An another great paint job for a great model. Your work rate is fantastic, it's a joy following your painting thread.

I can believe gw would repackage fish plants as modeling scenery. Oh and add £10 on top of the original price haha

Started some bases today so I'll be carrying on with them after work tomorrow.

Nice work on the old school kroxigors. Personally I prefer the new kroxigors (though I have about 4 of the old ones kicking around) but your painting is very well executed. I'm really loving the water on your bases, especially how it flows through your bases when ranked up.

Sadly I wont have any updates for a wee while as I have fractured my elbow so painting will be a tad difficult. Time to read up on what GW have to done to the Lizardmen I suppose.

All I have left to do is all my Skinks, Saurus warriors and Cold Ones :)

Ouch, too bad about the elbow. :hurting:
get well soon. :nurse:
