But it is the toad rage ability that gives you the special rules in that paragraph. The chiefs ripper doesn't have that rule, so won't benefit.
but the rule is on the board aka the 3 rippers place a blot toad then ripperdactyls get the benefit because the qualifier IS NOT. The toad rage but the ripperdactyl...read predatory fighters " a model with this special rule" is the qualifier but with toad rage it simply states "the riperdactyl's attacks" if it said"a model with toad rage" I would agree but it doesn't the qualifier is not toad rage. As long as a ripperdactyl unit is on the board then the cheifs dactyl can get the fenzy bonus
Edit: It isn't the ripper that gets the benefit, it is the model with the toad rage rule that gets the benefit. A minor difference but an important one. As only rippers have this rule, they get the benefit as long as they also have the toad rage rule. It is in the toad rage rule. It is saying what the models with the rule gets. Nowhere does it say all ripperdactyls. All it does is state what the rule gives models with that special rule. As the chiefs mount doesn't have the rule, it has no access to the rage ability. You can't give the model a rule that it doesn't have normally unless there is something in the rule that allows for others to benefit from it. Toad rage doesn't have any qualifiers that would give the rule to the chiefs mount.
