I just recently started playing Warhammer once again and decided to go with a completely new army of models (I didn't have many in the first place to be honest), just thought I would share a few of my completes and works in progress to see what people think. The entire army is desert themed, half because my rival back in the day played Tomb Kings and half because I have the perfect model on my dresser :D

Here they are, starting with the completed models:

Saurus Scar vet, modified with an arm from a 5th edition Temple Guard and Saurus Warrior sword

Skinky x24 complete!

And then the half done that I'll get back to.....

Rider's haven't been painted yet, but 7 of the 10 Cold Ones have been

I need to get around to the crew.......

The Priest is from the current Stegadon box, as is his Skink Chief right arm, that I was able to get as bits from someone, the palanquin is actually the battle standard from the Saurus Scar Veteran I had to modify awhile back, the amount of cutting, sanding, filing, and green stuff it took... UGH! Eventually I'll make another base for it as its on one of my terradon bases in the pics, which is way too tall for my tastes but for my upcoming game it works.

nice army, good choice of priest! (steggy priest looks cooler than the metal models) :walkingdead:

i can tell you did put in some effort to make the conversions, and thats great. the natural colors are nice too, but i am afraid it can become a bit boring to look at. the green detail is a nice start, but i feel like i need something more for this to really pop. the black claws also add to the general dull feeling. mayhaps you should for them a lighter color. mayhaps you should do the bases lush and green (though i get that you want a more camouflage feel) mayhaps you can add an element of bright color to the brown (much like my skinks in the link below).

A bit of extra contrast wont hurt either. a wash of badab black followed by a nice edge highlight would go a long way, especially on the hero characters. this is a good start, but there is room for improvement no doubt. keep up the good work, and you will get there :)
