Been very busy this past month hence lack of updates - I blame holidays! (A much needed holiday to Mallorca and a medieval re-enactment festival! Huzzah!) as well as work and trying to get some semblance of organisation in my life (and failing miserably. That and another sword fighting thing I need to get organised for
). That and catching up very slowly on my 40k space marines before attempting anything else. The iron hands squad in the above post is pretty much done (note to self, dotting rivets on armour is an absolute pain) and now I'm moving on to the smurfs- uh, I mean ultramarines 
Here's hoping I don't get too fed up with edge highlights and rivets. (I'll paint more lizardmen soon and post more photos up here! I swear!)

Judging by how long it's been, real life has gotten in the way of some of my hobby time! A lot has happened in that time (hobbywise: 8th edition 40k, new armies for aos like the daughters of khaine and idoneth being announced, not to mention plastic sisters of battle! AHHHHH!) As for me, I've been plodding away (slowly as always!). Thankfully I now have a few photos of what I've been doing recently in terms of painting -especially as I want to get a lot of this finished up before the sisters of battle get released! Hope you all enjoy the photos!

Very nice. Clean and crisp brushwork. The colours look great.
Many thanks Nightbringer! Have found the cold one cavalry to be a bit of a pain to paint (not sure why, but there is a lot of details on them hence they take longer than standard skinks/saurus...) They've been almost finished for about a year (since I last posted originally in the thread) so I thought it best to finish them off now and give them a matte varnish to prevent chipping. It doesn't help that I don't have a proper carry case for them, whilst my other one is already full (the Start Collecting box for these guys :S ) Just need to work on the green cold ones and some other projects... In the meantime, here's some more minis! (That and I hope that they still upload properly despite my speed issues)

Thanks for all the responses guys 
was meant to post up some more stuff yesterday and but have come down with a stinking cold! Good to know the photos aren't quite working - might be that it was when my internet was still playing up (should be fixed... for now). That or it could be my terribly old laptop (clearly a misunderstood or malfunctioning piece of Old One technology 
) Let's see if these photos now show up!

Actually, I get the feeling that I had tried to copy and paste them into the text box (which has worked previously) and it doesn't seem to want to recognise them- my bad! Probs best stick with the proper 'upload a file' button for now.
