So does this mean that we outside UK get cheaper or more expensive prices on UK-based products (meaning mostly GW and FW)?

The entire campaign has been filled with fear mongering. Especially from EU side, now after the fact, they act like a spoiled brat. The pound and stock market will be back where it was in a few weeks time, and trade agreements will be struck. In the end I personally believe UK is better off leaving than staying in EU. UK was an economic powerhouse before, and now it again have a chance to do it again.

Why do the leave voters protest about a re-vote etc they say the public have spoken and we should respect that but then shouldn't they not fear that the re-vote wont change the result? Equally they say that its not respecting democracy but having a re-vote when the information of the consequences is much clearer to everyone on how it will affect them on a personal level. I think democracy should allow for multiple votes on really important issues, especially with the narrow % differences between the results. If it were 70-30 -80-20 % then you can understand but I think people are just getting such sore "winners". Either way lots of things will change now so it will have had an massive effect on us whether it gets stopped or re-voted on or turned into a west end musical.

You are too kind, Scaly. I feel like I should have had a similar Trump and Hillary related thread, but discussions about that were dominated by a potty-mouthed panda.

Scalenex suggested that I cease being a political pundit pandit. We are a hobby forum, and Scalenex would prefer divisive politics not be discussed here. I am pessimistic about the United State's future but I am less pessimistic than I was when the election results were called. I can only guess what sort of president he would be and my guesses were off a lot this year. I am willing to at least wait until the president elect takes office and takes action or inaction before I start complaining.
