My local GW stored still has a bag of the special edition dice. You need to purchase 1 old lizardmen item to receive 1 dice or a new item to receive 2 dice. If there were some way I could get you guys the dice I would.

Its not quite thread necromancy since it isn't that old, but I felt it worth while. As I mentioned earlier I was ordering custom dice since I could not get the limited edition Lizardman dice. The left die is the color I went with:

I bring it up because if anyone else is interested in doing the same thing I recommend going through Chessex. They are a snap to work with and very friendly. I was very impressed, which is why I wanted to mention it. If you are curious I ordered 36 dice with that image on the '6' face and with shipping it cost me $34.00. Not too shabby if anyone else if thinking about custom dice.

The blue looks pretty cool. Nice. Less than a dollar a dice seems good, until you see the $34 for 36. Seems a fair bit, but I guess including postage its ok.

Shipping alone was $7 for in the Continental US so really the dice worked out to $27.00 in total; or $0.75 each. The price is whole dependent on the quantity you order. They are 16mm dice which individually sell for $0.80 each. So as long as you order a quantity of 26 or more you end up paying less per die than ordering them individually. I am not certain why Chessex is willing to charge less than what the die usually sells for, but I am not complaining. I suppose I'm not getting the plastic cases they sell in, but I hardly see that as an issue.

Most places tend to give you a small discount for buying in bulk.. Encourages people to buy more I guess. I'm not sure how they make the symbols on the dice, but I imagine the more they sell of the custom dice the more economical.
