That guy instantly reminded me of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Good job! :)

Very nice EotG, did you enjoy painting it?

Always, especially when I paint things in parts so the dinosaur, the machine and crew are painted separately before assembling together I can get all the details.

Not sure if I need a second EotG

Goo goo g'joob!
(sorry, I was just listening to "I am the Walrus") :D

Indeed! Very nice! I really like this pale skin on the steggy...

Hello everyone, thank you to everyone for their kind words. It has been a little while but I had been busily working on my immense 40 Saurus Warrior unit. I wanted to make an effective Sunclaw Starhost as I do love the Saurus Warriors as a unit.

Overall the unit of 40 was a lot of work but I do love the results, the designs of the shields was especially rewarding. I got some movement trays which I plan to put sand on and paint.

Just browsed your goods, very very nice - love the colour scheme :)

Fantastic! Nice and snappy looking horde of saurus warriors, they look great displayed as a big group!

And thanks for the link to those movement trays, looks like each one will fit five warriors apiece? You must show us pictures when you complete the movement trays as well so we can see how they look.

Thank you very much, I had always been taught that when it comes to large units that no matter how you paint a single model, sometimes it is how they all come together that is important.

I have added some photos with the movement trays, I would really like all of your criticism here, what here works and doesn't work for you all.

Those movement trays look great!

I’m defo getting some of those trays now.

I will advice against sanding those movement trays. They are precision cut and so any sand added to the bases makes them a little more difficult to add and remove models. I have found a sweet spot of having half the unit in movement trays to allow for ease of moving models for piling in etc while still keeping the unit quick and easy to move around.

I have finished the next unit in my army, I got a couple of Salamanders which I have assembled and painted ready for an up and coming tournament.

Something ruinous will be coming soon though as I have just started collecting my Beast of Chaos army which I might post progress on here soon.

Alternatively, I make and sell textured trays in over 20 different textures.IMG_20180824_074615.jpg
