Interesting matchup... while 1 on 1 a Wookiee would have a significant strength advantage (I haven't yet heard of a Klingon capable of pulling out someone's arm from its socket), if both races were pitted against each other in a full-scale war, the Klingons have an Empire spanning many planets, and have access to many powerful ships including large battlecruisers. By contrast, the Wookiees are principally restricted to their homeworld and the best they can manage as fighter craft are 2-man gunships built of wroshyr wood and designed principally to combat small slaver ships. The fact they have to call in the Republic to help against a Separatist invasion force made up of hordes of expendable troops largely inferior to the Klingons speaks volumes. Not to mention we've already discussed many times over how Star Trek technology trumps that of most other sci-fi franchises.

The Klingons would win pretty easily here - Glory to the Empire!
