AoS Start collecting 500 pts list

Hello, I've recently gotten into AoS after playing 40k for a while.

I decided to go with a lizardmen army and bought the start-collecting box with the saurus in it.
After quarantine in my country is over I have a 500 pts casual game planned against a friend of mine.
So i was wondering what you guys think of this list, mind you I've yet to purchase the new battletome so I had to make this list using the warscroll builder.


Saurus Oldblood (110)
General
- Command Trait : ???
- Artefact : ???

Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (110)

UNITS
10 x Saurus Warriors (90) - Clubs
10 x Saurus Warriors (90) - Clubs
5 x Saurus Knights (100) - Lances

= 500 pts on the nose

I have some questions about this list, first of all what weapon should I pick for my Oldblood and should I make the scar-veteran my general? Thirdly what artefact should I pick? I want my army to be fire/lava themed so maybe one of the artefacts should be from Aqshy? Sadly I don't have acces to the rules for the malign sorcery at home.

go koatle and take those they are vary good for a saurus list the CP regen is great for our guys and the 6s do 2 MW is good on a old blood

You should give the ScV CO the Eviscerating Blade if you go Koatl's Claw. The Bonus to hit from the Oldblood along with the Koatl's Claw command ability are probably going to be spamed more than the exploding 6's. So I would make the Carno your General with Dominate Predator over the ScV on Co.
