Blog Started Painting Today! Picture Heavy!

That's one good looking slann yoou've got there Asrodrig!!! Can't believe it's actually just only WIP!!! I want to see more...

You should also move your army diary to the new forum subsection :P.

That Slann looks like it would eat children for breakfast....LOVE IT! :bored:

I had a bit of a fail moment with the Slann last night when I used Gorilla Glue to glue his palanquin together. While the stuff could probably glue Coke to Pepsi, I didn't know it expanded as it dried, so the end result was a bit of a mess. Fortunately I was able to clean up most of the damage with a bit of a bamboo skewer. The good news is that aside from that, the model's pretty much done. I should have pictures up later today!

Hujrry up and get those pics uploaded to photobucket!!!

I really like your slann, very creative with the base and the colour scheme is something I've never seen before on a slann. Really nice work on the model as a whole. The only thing, and it might be from the photo, is I think that the horns on the palanquin somewhat lack definition. I don't know how to express it but there are details on those that should show more, especially when I look at how well you painted your model. I'm pretty sure I'd never do better but it's the only thing I could find I didn't like at 100% on your model.

Awesome work once more!!!

Are you able to get a close up pic on the top of his head cause it looks cool but i cant acctually see it :)

A very interesting avenue for a conversion. I'm a big Naruto fan but I had almost completly forgot about Hidan!!! I'm eager to see how this turns out.

Good work. It would be nice to see a WIP progress on those arms. I have made a sculpy mold for an arm before, but have not built one up completely from scratch. Looking forward to seeing this.

Wow that is going to look cool on a model!

The creation of the arms has commenced, but there's nothing picture-worthy yet. So instead, I'll show you another WIP shot of my other Scar-Veteran.

(looks a lot better in real life, I swear)
I'm still painting his arms, so they haven't been attached yet.

Well Asrodrig, if it looks better in real life, I gate you even more now :P. I think it looks really cool. The way you highlighted the standard blue scheme makes it looks so much better then usual! It'll be interesting to se how the finished model turns out!

You gate me? That's not very nice... :P
Well, I've finished that guy now. I'm quite pleased with the results.
