8th Ed. Stegadons shooting

Hi guys,

I've been hearing that the Stegadons blowpipes and giant bow can be fired whilst the Stegadon is in close combat but I can't see to find where that is written. Could someone point me towards it?

I don't think anyone can point you to that as I don't believe its true. Nobody that I know of can fire missile weapons while in combat.

at a guess I would say you are getting it mixed up with ark of sotek which shoots snakes and does so regardless of circumstances.

I've been told that this was possible in previous editions. Someone may have brought it up mistakenly.

Was not possible in previous editions and is not possible now.

However, in the old book a Stegadon Ancient with an Engine of the Gods could use its Burning Alignment in combat. Since most people ran with the engine, that's probably a source of confusion.
