So you all know me for my Thunder Lizard project I am working on. http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/something-big-this-way-comes-for-sale.6349/.

I thought I would post up pictures of my lizardmen army that will march into battle around, behind and on my Thunder Lizard.

I am really working on creating a Lustria feel for all the bases and movement trays as well as some 50x50mm unit fillers for my large blocks of Saurus Warriors.

STILL TO PAINT: 32 Saurus Warriors, 24 Skink Skirmishers, 8 Cold One Riders, 14 more Temple Guard, and of course the THUNDER LIZARD.

The models are painted very well. I look forward to seeing those bases complete. When you do get them complete you will have to post those pics. I'm sure they will look even better with a touch of realism and fantasy.

What exactly will you be placing on the bases? Rocks, glyphs, swamp, water, moss, grass, reeds, and the list goes on...?

Ok folks so here is the update on all pictures of my Lizardmen army that are painted. All bases will be like the Slann base and the large block of Saurus Warriors. Let me know what you think…

ALL the tress will be dry brushed and muted a little as to not look so FAKE and PLASTICY (is that a word) anyway let me know what you think. All these guys will be with the Thunder Lizard Marching to War on a 2x2 display board... It should be fun to do... only 3.5 months till its due for competition.

The models look great. I was looking through the pictures and just enjoying them when I grew more and more alarmed. The alarm went away when you said you were repainting the palm trees to bring them away from plastic and into real life. This army isl looking great!

Lookin' real good, are you making this for the "Armies on parade" by chance? I'm doing the same thing with my LM army. Where are you getting the palm trees from? I like the idea although I agree, they would look much better painted. I'm looking forward to seeing it when you got it done. I'll continue to track the progress.

i was gonna comment on the plasticy fakeness on the plants untill i read the bit at the bottom so yeah gd work... do u know anytime soon when ull get the thunder lizard bits and pics?
