AoS Sudden death in matched play

Chaps, has anyone encountered this being removed from matched play? I can't find an FAQ that it has, or any other source.

I think the generals handbook says something about it. Equal points doesn't mean equal models though, good point.

Counting the models was a bad idea anyway. Imagine a Ogre army vs. a Skaven or Skink army.
LOL. One plays Thundertusks and Stonehorns AND gets the sudden death advantage. hint: It isn't the Skink player.

Instead of sudden death if you have less points you gain a triumph.
