It's been a busy Holiday season, especially this past week. Now that it's kind of settling down (for the next day until more parties for the new year happen) I've started to think about the next year and what it means for my hobby and the goals I want to set for myself.
I've definitely been thinking about projects for the next year and I think I have "The Big Eight" planned out, some of them are rolling over from 2019, such as the Thunderlizard. The projects are not limited to these bigger projects but I want them to be the focus for sure and take my time on them. The Projects I have planned are:
*Finish Thunderlizard
*Dread Saurian - I have a few Conversion ideas
*Bastiladon - Ark of Sotek
*Engine of the Gods
*Finish Xalachiosaurus (Stegadon Conversion)
*Sitlunār Kōatl - My Own Fluff Monster
* Some Sort of Unique Creation formed from kitbashing
Special Saurus Ripperdactyl Hero
Again, my projects aren't limited to this list, these are just the big ones I want to do, but are what I'll be focusing on. I still have Start Collecting boxes to finish.
I also just want to grow in my painting and bade making by work on techniques and still just take chances. Some things I'd like to work on are blending colors, highlighting, resin and other base making basics.
On a non painting note, I also want to work on my story building and revisit some of the writings I've posted and either scrap them and start over or simply redo them. I also have some ideas for new fluff regarding my army.... and a new Old One rising.
I'm sure there are other things I'll add to these lists but for my experience of about 6 months I think this is more than enough for me to start with!
What are you all hoping to start in the new year? Below I'm going to post the two models I just purchased that will be apart of my next year projects: Two Models from the Goldenmaw line - One I'll be using as a Sunblood Conversion (shield instead of the axe) and the other as the Saurus Ripperdactyl Hero.
As I close out this Blog (I won't be posting again until the next year) I just want to thank all of you for the support and live through the 11 pages of this blog. The past 6 months sharing my work, ideas and refound creativity through painting and writing as been a joy and I excited for 2020.
