Hello fellow lustrians!

I've been a looooong time lurker and was a very slow painter until recently (my fiancée is really supportive!) and I want to share my work with you for feedback and giggles :p

Here's my first miniature ever, a metal carnosaur. I'll also share a WIP Skink Priest conversion from the new carnosaur kit. I'll upload my Slann and Saurus Warriors at a later time.

Real nice! For a first model that is impressive :woot:, and that feather head dress, awesome!:wideyed:

These look awesome! Amazing job on the carno, and I really like the yellow skink priest with his metal mask! These are great! I am looking forward to more!

Sorry for taking so long to update, school and work have been kind of hectic. Without further ado, here's my WIP Sunblood. The pictures are from my phone, so please excuse the quality.

The shield shows a much richer red IRL, but other than that the pictures are pretty much accurate. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

Looks great so far, the gold could do with a bit more depth, a wash of Seraphim sepia followed by a highlight will bring it to life.

Thank you all so much for your comments!

@Crowsfoot I actually already gave it a wash with Seraphim Sepia, the thing is that when I spayed the primer onto the mini it came out very spotty, almost texturized, and shading and layering has been a real pain. But you're absolutely right, the gold definitely needs some improving.

I did some highlights on the skin, let me know what you guys think.

He is looking really good, what you doing base wise?
I have an unassembled stegadon and I'm planning to make some moulds out of the howdah bits for basing, with some crushed tea leaves and static grass (similar to what I did on my metal carno) but I'm open to suggestions ;)

Thanks for your support guys!

Nice work! I especially like the way you painted the shield, it looks like it's made of pure awesome!

Thank you all so much for your support, I'll keep them coming!

Also if you spot anything I could improve please let me know ;)

Well it sure is taking me a lot longer to finish painting my army than I expected, but I guess it's all right as long as you enjoy the process, right?

Inspired by @InfamousBeany I decided to include a jade battlemage

Here's also a WIP of my Saurus Warriors, still have a few things to do, mostly highlights on the skin and gold, but I just had to take a break from those 36 Warriors. Man, it's exhausting to paint so many miniatures at once!

Anyway, please let me know what you think and thank you all, you have no idea how much inspiration and encouragement I've gotten from this forum
