7th Ed. Temple Guard Question

Do you have to have a Slann Mage in your army to take a temple guard unit? I can't find this in the rule book. (I am using 5th edition.)
 
Nope. Although, you shouldn't take them unless you do =).
 
5th edition? It might be different then... I strongly suggest you upgrade to 7th edition, which we are on now. :)

TG can be ok without a Slann, but generally they are a lot better and therefore more cost effective when there is a Slann around.
 
Thanks guys! I don't have an army book yet myself. :jawdrop: I was using my friend's book. I wasn't sure what edition army book it was but he says its the latest so it must be 7th. Thanks again!
