The best terrain builders can turn just about any everyday item into a masterpiece. I've never had a knack for it myself... I have to build everything from pretty much scratch :(.
 
Very nice work!

Mine's coming along, rather slowly. Got the base painted with the texture now I got to add another layer of paint, paint the other details. Mines just a mix of hand-sculpted, converted and existing pieces. Gotta get a move on, so many entries I got to do for other places.
Armies on parade, single model paint work.

I'm the same loads of stuff on the go.

With the tower I've got to make a bridge, pillars, doors and maybe a dragons head, will kit bash etc then the whole thing needs cleaning up and painting, which will try to reflect a Har Ganeth colour scheme (chalky white)

Then the base!

Started painting the old blood for the 2nd place prize, pick tomorrow.

Nice one! Reminds me of a watchtower I made years ago. Also from very simple materials like toothpicks and a role of toilet paper. amazing what you can make from such things... Mine looked much simpler btw like a wooden blockhouse. Really like what you are doing here. And I'm looking forward to see all the finished works of all competitors! Maybe next time I will join the competition... The price is definitely worth a try.

I will but if I come in the top 3 I will pass my prize on.

Forgot to do a rear shot of the tower, it has tree bark glued all around to try and create the effect that the tower is chisled from the stone.

Maybe cause I'm always writing via smartphone... Bad. Smileys are essential for forum communication. :-/

Looking good!

Been busy sorting out sticks for the wheel on mine, I am using the Goblin Town set to make the platforms, needs to be more Skaveny though. Might need warpstone.... that's it. Warpstone.
