Tetto Eko Sculpt

Tetto Eko is by far my favorite Lizardmen character. He fitted so perfectly into the theme of my army and played an important role in the story of the campaign I was playing at the time.
So I decided to sculpt a model for him seeing as there was none available.

His entry in the book is very descriptive and the illustration it provides is so vague that it left me with almost free reign in going about the design. If anyone is interested I can post some pictures from my sketchbook that give a little insight into the model's creation.
I also decided to challenge myself with the project by not using any parts from other models, and it certainly was! The project took over a year on and off, but the end result is a 100% original sculpt.

So, with the new models a couple of weeks away there's been rumours that Tetto Eko is finally getting a model done in finecast. It seems now is a good opportunity to show my interpretation of the character before the official one is revealed.

And here I was worried my palanquin looked too much like a toilet seat...
Yeah, not very elegant is he? I don't need to see it in detail to know I don't like it. I went by how the character is described and made him thin and frail, that one is quite chunky like they tried to make it more Slann-like.

I especially like the monacle that you put on him. That gives the abilities a nod that it makes sense that he can reroll the comet and redeploy units.

Hopefully, they don't ruin him with the new rules.

Maybe he will be cheaper.... (doubt it, he will probably be a lord option)
