Oh! Than's what I did :) There are some great feathers to do that. They have a really nice motion to them that looks great draped over a back!

Yep that's what I was asking! i like that green tone.
So you're using green stuff on your guards and skinks… means you've been thinking of converting them en masse? :)

No :) I just need it to stick them to their new bases (bought an old box with square bases). They come attached to a little rod that slots into the base, so I need to cut it off and use a bit of green stuff to stick them down and add some interest to the bases.

That's the idea :) Ebay is your friend! Just don't forget to add the price for the round bases (if you care about the base type)

And so the army finaly had the Tek'toq from which it was named! I was doubtful of the colours...but all together I think this looks pretty good! The Nurgle rot works great for the warts on his back :) Can't wait for him to start destroying his enemies, instead of just a strangely capable empty throne.

This Slann looks amazing! I really like the colour scheme! It's a really deep blue, almost like looking into the night sky!

Thank you very much ^_^ I glad you like it! I was surprised the blue worked so well actually. I had seen some images online were the blue looked awful that almost scared me off it. Shame the dark patches got masked by the wash though.

Fun fact: The blue is actually very loosely tied into my, as yet unpublished, army background fluff!

Great work on the Slann. The blue turned out very well and the palanquin turned out great as well.

Thank you guys :) I think I'm going to be working on my Kroxigors next! (just been told they arrived!)

Ha! I'll try to worm it in there at some point (might be some time though...still unsure on details and time to actually sit down and do it.

Sorry I've not been posting very much, work got busy as i've been getting back late, so not much time for hobbying :L

I've been working on my Kroxigors for the past couple of weeks. I just go to main bodies finished today so I thought I would show you guys! I decided to try out the official heraldry for these guys (painted head and spikes) not sure if it's as nice as just a normal head but it still looks nice. I also got these really nice miniature flowers for y bases, really think it helps kick them off...but it may be a little busy XD

I tried here to get the grass to grow over the stone piece. I didn't like how it looked like it had only just been placed there...but forgot the new fluff means that it would have only been there for this battle...oops.

no the bases seem just fine to me :) its cool that you added some grass on the stone piece, makes it look more natural… i think you have a right to take some trifling liberties with the aos fluff here ^^

Nice idea with the slann's hat, but I also like how you painted the tiny snake on the base. Even though it is such a tiny detail, the white and green really ties in with your (also beautifully painted) saurus and skinks.

Also your stegadon and terradons look fantastic too.
